Key Responsibilities
· Learn to safely operate and maintain equipment used in the manufacture and packaging of pharmaceutical products.
· Support the operation of supporting processes like solvent recovery and effluent treatment.
· Perform routine preventive maintenance and assist in troubleshooting equipment breakdowns.
· Participate in continuous improvement projects to optimise manufacturing processes.
· Assist in root cause analysis for equipment issues and support new product/equipment introductions.
· Collect, analyse, and trend operational data to support innovation and quality assurance.
· Adhere strictly to all quality, safety, and accuracy standards in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment.
Requirements
· A recent ITE graduate with a Nitec in Chemical Process Technology, Mechanical Technology, or Electrical Technology (GPA > 2.0), OR a Higher Nitec in Biotechnology, Chemical Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
· Written and spoken fluency in English.
· A strong interest in science, engineering, and a hands-on technical career.
· Willingness to enrol in and commit to the partnered Work-Study Diploma programme.
· Ability to commute daily to the GSK Jurong facility and to classes as required.
· Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.
