Overview
GlobalFoundries Singapore is offering an Industrial Engineering Internship where you will contribute to optimizing semiconductor cleanroom layouts and enhancing fab efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and maintenance of semiconductor cleanroom layouts.
- Update and optimize main fab and subfab layouts using AutoCAD.
- Plan and execute tools movement to improve space utilization.
- Collaborate with engineers and operations teams to re-profile capacity landscapes.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental guidelines.
- Assist with documentation and reporting related to layout and optimization projects.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- At least in sophomore year at the time of application.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or similar design software.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in teams.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to practical engineering solutions.
