Overview
Embark on a global banking career with the 12-month International Banking Apprenticeship at Standard Chartered. You will rotate through key client-facing support functions within our Wealth and Retail Banking business, gaining firsthand experience in relationship management, portfolio coordination, and customer service for an international clientele. · Gain rotational, hands-on experience in critical banking support functions: Sales Support, Portfolio Management, and Customer Management.

Key Responsibilities
· (Rotation 1 & 2 - Role Dependent) Support Relationship Managers with client onboarding, documentation, and service coordination to help acquire and retain clients.
· Assist in managing customer portfolios by tracking application progress, monitoring instructions, and providing timely updates to clients.
· Help handle customer enquiries via phone and email, ensuring professional and accurate communication.
· Support the Customer Management team in client communications during Relationship Manager transitions and for promotional updates.
· Aid in the investigation, documentation, and follow-up process for customer feedback and complaints.
· Contribute to maintaining accurate client records and ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
· Participate in programme learning modules, workshops, and projects designed to solve real business challenges.
Requirements
· A recent Polytechnic Diploma graduate from any discipline, with less than 2 years of formal work experience.
· A strong, demonstrated interest in building a career in banking and finance.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and engage calmly with clients and colleagues.
· Resilience and the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
· Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a client-centric mindset.
· Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Must have the permanent legal right to work in Singapore.
