Key Responsibilities
- Partner with recruiters to build talent pipelines for technical roles across Southeast Asia
- Source candidates using platforms like LinkedIn, GitHub, Kaggle, ArXiv, and technical communities
- Conduct market research to identify emerging tech hubs and high-potential talent pools
- Craft personalised outreach messages that attract engineers and researchers to Tencent’s mission
- Support talent branding initiatives to strengthen Tencent’s presence in the tech hiring ecosystem
- Assist with sourcing projects that influence strategic hiring for Cloud & AI teams
- Collaborate with cross-regional colleagues and support communication between teams
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in HR or a related discipline
- Prior exposure to recruitment or sourcing is a plus (e.g., Boolean search experience)
- Genuine interest in AI, Cloud, technology, and digital culture
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to gather and interpret information
- Comfortable working across cultures and time zones
- Good communication skills in both English and Mandarin to engage with international stakeholders
