Overview

This internship sits within the Corporate IT Governance team, where you’ll play a meaningful role in helping the Group strengthen its technology risk posture and uphold consistent governance standards across multiple business units.
What You’ll Do
- Support the rollout and maintenance of Group-wide IT policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure consistent adoption across the organisation.
- Assist in IT risk management activities, including risk identification, analysis, tracking, and monitoring of remediation progress.
- Help maintain the Group’s IT risk registers and verify that controls are properly implemented to mitigate identified risks.
- Contribute to IT Governance initiatives by coordinating with subsidiaries to ensure compliance with Group IT requirements.
- Work with the team to improve processes, documentation, and reporting structures that support IT governance frameworks.
- Participate in assigned governance tasks and gain practical exposure to enterprise-level risk and policy management.
What You’ll Need
- Enrolled in Computing, Computer Science, Information Security, Business IT, or similar disciplines.
- Basic understanding of IT risks, controls, cloud security, data governance, and common IT platforms (OS, databases, etc.).
- Familiarity with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or local regulations like CSA and MAS guidelines is a plus.
- Professional certifications (CISA, CRISC, CCSP) are advantageous but not required.
- Strong organisation skills, clear communication, and the ability to work collaboratively.
