Overview
Join Emerson’s Asia Pacific Total Rewards team and gain hands-on exposure to how compensation and benefits strategies are designed, communicated, and implemented across a diverse regional landscape. This internship is ideal for someone who wants to understand how HR programs shape employee experience and support business goals. You’ll work closely with regional stakeholders, contribute to ongoing projects, and help ensure our rewards processes remain accurate, compliant, and employee-focused.
What You’ll Do
- Support the creation and distribution of HR communications that explain compensation and benefits programs to internal teams and employees.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to collect data needed for calculations, letters, and programme updates.
- Assist the Total Rewards team with regional initiatives, research, and day-to-day operational tasks.
- Help maintain documentation and ensure information is accurate, clear, and aligned with internal guidelines.
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects that improve our rewards workflows and enhance employee understanding.
What You’ll Need
- Currently pursuing a degree in HR, Business, Economics, or a related field (Master’s students are welcome).
- Able to commit at least 3 days a week for 2–6 months.
- Strong analytical thinking with solid Excel skills; experience with mail merge is a bonus.
- Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to interpret HR and technical documentation in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Organised, detail-oriented, discreet with sensitive information, and eager to learn in a multicultural environment.
