As an R&D Intern, you’ll support product development projects at the Singapore Technical Centre, working closely with food scientists and technical specialists. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with lab trials, including preparing ingredients, running prototypes, and analysing outcomes
- Support ongoing product development work through batch preparation, mixing, and benchtop experiments
- Help with sensory assessments, shelf-life studies, and general lab upkeep
- Conduct desktop research, compile data, and assist with technical documentation
- Follow Mondelēz safety, hygiene, and GMP standards while working in the lab
- Participate in project discussions and help track progress across assigned tasks
- Prepare materials needed for your final project presentation
Requirements
- Studying Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline (Diploma or Degree)
- Comfortable working in a lab environment and handling ingredients/equipment
- Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Able to write clear reports and organise data
- Independent, curious, and willing to learn hands-on technical work
- Available to start in January or March 2026
