As a People & Culture Intern within the Warehouse/SPX People Team, you’ll support the full employee life cycle for our frontline workforce—from recruitment and onboarding to engagement and offboarding. This internship offers hands-on exposure to HR operations in a dynamic, high-volume environment where people experience directly impacts business performance.
Responsibilities
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including preparing materials and assisting with new hire orientations
- Help plan and execute welfare, recognition, and engagement initiatives that strengthen workplace culture
- Assist with payroll validation by coordinating with internal stakeholders and verifying data accuracy
- Contribute to internal communication efforts, such as newsletters and employee updates
- Respond to employee queries and provide guidance aligned with company policies and best practices
- Collaborate closely with operations teams to improve HR processes that support frontline efficiency
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Passionate about people operations, employee experience, and organisational culture
- Strong communication skills and comfortable interacting in a diverse, fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to handle confidential information professionally
- A team player with a proactive attitude, good problem-solving abilities, and willingness to learn
- Full-time availability preferred; part-time interns who can commit at least 3 days per week are welcome
