About the Graduate Trainee Program
Octagon invites ambitious graduates to join a 6-month Graduate Trainee Program at one of the world’s leading Sports and Entertainment creative marketing agencies. This program is designed to immerse you in the fast-paced commercial world of sports, entertainment, and brand partnerships. As a Graduate Trainee, you will work closely with experienced professionals and be trusted with meaningful responsibilities. The program is ideal for individuals who are curious, driven, and eager to build a long-term career in sports and entertainment marketing.
What You’ll Do
- Track and analyze sports and entertainment news across the region
- Research industry trends, competitors, and client opportunities
- Support new business pitches and sponsorship proposals
- Assist with client meetings, presentations, and reporting
- Help manage day-to-day client programs and campaign execution
- Coordinate with clients, suppliers, internal teams, and rights-holders
- Support account operations, including invoicing and financial reporting
- Handle correspondence and ad-hoc project tasks as required
Who We’re Looking For
- Strong interest in sports or entertainment and their commercial impact
- Degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Sports Management, or related fields
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Proactive, service-minded, and eager to learn in a fast-moving environment
