Overview
Join the Life & Health Southeast Asia analytics team and get hands-on exposure to how one of the world’s leading reinsurers uses data to evaluate and manage risk. As an Actuarial Data Analyst Intern, you’ll support the team by transforming complex portfolio data into reliable insights that guide real business decisions. You’ll work closely with regional actuaries while strengthening your technical and analytical foundation.

Key Responsibilities
- Clean, validate, and structure large client datasets to ensure accuracy before analysis
- Map varied client data formats into standardized internal templates for consistent processing
- Review treaty terms and product information to support correct interpretation of portfolio data
- Perform reconciliations to confirm data completeness and resolve discrepancies
- Generate summary reports and insights that assist with pricing assessments and experience studies
- Support onboarding of new treaties by checking configurations and verifying output accuracy
- Collaborate with regional teams to troubleshoot issues and document processes clearly
- Conduct ad-hoc investigations such as premium checks or data deep-dives when required
Requirements
- Currently studying Actuarial Science, Statistics, Data Science, Math, or a related field
- Comfortable working with large datasets and patient when checking details
- Basic experience with SQL and strong skills in Excel
- Curious about insurance, financial risk, or actuarial work
- Able to communicate clearly and stay organized when handling multiple tasks
- Willing to learn independently and ask questions when needed
