Overview

Activate Interactive is seeking a Quality Assurance Intern to help ensure the products they build are stable, user-friendly, and ready for real-world use. You’ll work closely with testers, developers, and project leads to check new features, uncover issues, and understand how professional software teams maintain quality at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Execute tests on new and existing features to verify functionality and usability
Create clear, detailed test cases for different scenarios and user flows
Support defect tracking by documenting bugs and following up on resolutions
Assist in building and maintaining automated test scripts using open-source tools
Review test results, identify inconsistencies, and suggest improvements
Work with developers and project leads to communicate findings
Help refine QA processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
Contribute to regression testing before major releases

Requirements

Basic programming familiarity (Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript is a plus)
Detail-oriented and comfortable spotting inconsistencies
Able to follow structured testing procedures
Interested in mobile or web applications
Good written and spoken English
Willing to learn and work independently when needed
Studying in an IT or computer-related field
