The Hoffman Agency is looking for driven, curious and ambitious Public Relations Interns who are excited to build a career in communications. If you love storytelling, enjoy working in fast-moving environments and have a genuine interest in technology, this internship gives you the chance to learn PR from the inside and contribute to real client campaigns.
As an intern, you’ll support regional teams across various high-growth technology accounts. You’ll get hands-on experience in media relations, content development, research, digital communications and campaign execution — all while learning from a global consultancy headquartered in Silicon Valley with offices around the world.
What You Will Do
1. Media Relations Support
- Research and build media contact lists
- Monitor editorial opportunities and alert the team
- Create briefing sheets for reporters
- Draft pitches and invites
- Follow up with media and help secure coverage
2. Content Development
- Draft press releases and media materials
- Support the creation of bylines, social media copy and campaign assets
3. New Business & Research
- Conduct preliminary research for new business proposals
- Compile insights and background information for client pitches
4. Speaking & Awards Programmes
- Maintain calendars of speaking and award opportunities
- Draft abstracts and assist with submissions
5. Events & Production Support
- Liaise with vendors for internal and external events
- Provide on-site support for video production and media activities
6. Internal Engagement
- Assist in organising social activities and internal training
- Support employee engagement initiatives within the agency
Who We’re Looking For
You’ll be a great fit if you are:
Attributes
- Passionate about PR, media relations and digital/social marketing
- Able to commit 6–12 months (full-time preferred)
- Highly organised with strong admin skills
- Energetic, positive and ready to take initiative (“can-do” mindset)
- A team player who can work independently when needed
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Good planning, research and organisational abilities
- Able to use Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
- Interest in the tech, innovation or communications industry is a big plus
