Internship Overview
We are seeking a motivated AI/DA Engineer Intern to join our team in Singapore. This role focuses on supporting quality control and yield improvement through AI and automation solutions for the Surface Mount Technology (SMT) assembly process.
You will work on developing a process dashboard for data analytics and process optimization, integrating information such as process parameters, materials, and product durability.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn the Module/SSD assembly process, including SMT operations such as printing, pick & place, and depaneling.
- Understand SMT-related systems including SAP, BOM, Sigma, and CTS.
- Collaborate with the team to develop AI/automation solutions for the SMT assembly process.
- Build a process dashboard capturing key process and product data, with a focus on quality improvement.
- Conduct basic data analysis and visualization to support process optimization and yield improvement.
Learning Outcomes / Deliverables
By the end of the internship, you will be able to:
- Understand SMT assembly process operations and Module/SSD product information.
- Work effectively with SMT-related software systems (SAP, BOM, Sigma, CTS).
- Develop a functional process dashboard for SMT assembly with a focus on automation and data traceability.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python and C++.
- Interest in AI, automation, and data-driven process improvement.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
