Overview
MUFG is offering a Financial Planning (Expense Management) Internship within its Global Corporate & Investment Banking team in APAC. This role gives you hands-on exposure to how a global bank tracks expenses, manages resources, and turns large datasets into insights that guide senior decision-making. You will work closely with regional teams to support analysis, reporting, and forecasting activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze expense and headcount data to help explain cost trends across APAC.
- Maintain and manage datasets to ensure reports are accurate and reliable.
- Reconcile financial data and follow up on required adjustments.
- Support forecasting activities by validating historical patterns and assumptions.
- Prepare reports and dashboards that inform management decisions.
- Coordinate with teams in different countries to respond to data requests.
- Assist in improving reporting processes and internal tools for efficiency.
Requirements
- Current undergraduate student studying finance, business, data, or a related field.
- Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and large datasets.
- Curious mindset with an interest in how financial decisions are made.
- Able to manage deadlines and work independently when needed.
- Basic knowledge of data tools or programming is a plus, but not required.
- Open to learning new systems and financial processes.
