Overview
Join Tencent's Corporate Development Group as a Strategic Partnership Intern within the Tenpay Global team, focusing on expanding our international cross-border payment network. You will support business development efforts across the APAC region, collaborating with internal teams to identify, onboard, and manage key fintech and merchant partnerships. This role is a direct pathway into the fast-evolving world of global financial technology.

Key Responsibilities
· Support the business development team in identifying and evaluating new partnership opportunities across APAC.
· Assist in coordinating across legal, compliance, and product teams to manage the end-to-end partnership process.
· Help maintain key partner relationships by supporting the resolution of product, technical, or operational issues.
· Conduct market research on remittance trends and payment behaviors in target countries to inform strategy.
· Create and update sales collateral and presentation materials tailored for different fintech verticals.
· Manage administrative and logistical tasks related to partnership onboarding and ongoing management.
Requirements
· Currently an undergraduate or graduate student in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
· A strong, genuine interest in building a career in fintech, payments, or strategic partnerships.
· Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is required to communicate effectively with headquarters stakeholders.
· Highly self-motivated with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
· Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, international work environment.
· Open to committing to a minimum 6-month full-time or 3-day part-time internship starting January 2026 or earlier.
