Join Agoda's dynamic technology team as a Software Engineer Intern and help build intelligent systems that enhance global travel. You'll focus on integrating AI agents to automate critical workflows, from document generation to browser-based tasks, working directly with experienced engineers. Key Responsibilities
· Collaborate with the engineering team to design, develop, and integrate AI agent solutions into Agoda's existing platforms.
· Contribute to automating key business processes, such as dynamic document generation and workflow optimization.
· Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code primarily in Kotlin and Python to build and enhance backend services.
· Work with relational databases, writing and optimizing SQL queries to support application data needs.
· Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical discussions to share knowledge and improve solutions.
· Assist in testing, debugging, and refining features to ensure system reliability and performance.
Requirements
· Strong grasp of core computer science fundamentals and software engineering principles.
· Proficiency in at least one modern programming language; Kotlin, Python, or JavaScript is ideal.
· Experience with or understanding of relational databases and SQL.
· Good command of English for effective teamwork and documentation.
· A proactive passion for software development and eagerness to tackle complex problems.
· An interest in AI/ML concepts or workflow automation is a bonus, but a willingness to learn is key.
· Ability to commit to a full-time internship for 4-6 months.
