Overview
Mercor, a San Francisco-based company connecting top creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs, is seeking a Financial Analysis Expert on a short-term contract basis. In this role, you will analyze company financials, evaluate key performance drivers, and produce concise insights to support AI training initiatives. This remote role offers the flexibility to contribute independently while sharpening your financial analysis expertise.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and explain primary drivers of business results
- Prepare clear, concise written analyses aligned with project objectives
- Manage tasks independently, meeting deadlines in an asynchronous work environment
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in investment banking, private equity, equity research, or consulting
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, accounting principles, and corporate filings (10-K/10-Q)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively
- Comfortable handling detailed financial data and complex reporting requirements
