Overview
Join Shopee’s dynamic design team as a UI/UX Design Intern and help shape the digital shopping experience for millions. You'll collaborate directly with product managers, designers, and developers to bring user-centered solutions to life on our web platform. Key Responsibilities
· Partner with the design and product teams to conceptualize, prototype, and iterate on user interface solutions.
· Apply and help uphold platform design guidelines to ensure consistent, user-friendly, and high-quality outputs.
· Create functional design mockups and interactive prototypes to communicate ideas clearly to developers and stakeholders.
· Contribute user-centered insights to design discussions, helping to create logical and intuitive user flows.
· Assist in preparing design specifications and assets to ensure smooth handoff and implementation by the development team.
· Participate in design reviews and product brainstorming sessions.
Requirements
· Currently enrolled in a Polytechnic or University program. A background in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus, but not mandatory.
· A strong interest in e-commerce, digital products, and creating user-friendly online experiences.
· Familiarity with at least two modern design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
· A quick learner who is eager to adapt and pick up new design methods and tools.
· Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
· Ability to think critically about user problems and propose creative solutions.
