Overview
Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Restructuring Group in Singapore is offering an Off-Cycle Internship that provides hands-on experience in complex financial advisory and restructuring projects. Interns will work alongside senior bankers on distressed M&A, debt and equity financings, and both in- and out-of-court restructurings, gaining direct exposure to high-stakes client engagements.

Key Responsibilities
- Support deal teams in preparing analyses and presentations for clients
- Assist in valuation exercises, financial modelling, and scenario analysis
- Contribute to restructuring plans and distressed M&A advisory projects
- Help prepare documentation for creditor and debtor-side transactions
- Conduct market and industry research to support strategic recommendations
- Participate in internal meetings and client discussions, capturing insights
- Collaborate with senior bankers to ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Strong academic performance (on track for or holding a 2:1 degree)
- Excellent quantitative, analytical, and financial modelling skills
- Strong interest in financial restructuring and corporate finance
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Motivated, proactive, and able to collaborate with diverse teams
