Marina Bay Sands is offering an IT Analytics Internship for students who want to apply data and technology to improve business performance. In this role, you’ll support the IT team by analysing processes, building dashboards, and developing tools that turn data into clear, actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

Research new technologies and analytics practices to support IT performance improvements
Help review and improve internal processes using data-backed insights
Organise and maintain datasets so teams can easily access reliable information
Support the creation of dashboards and reports that track IT performance metrics
Build visual reports and respond to ad-hoc data requests from stakeholders
Assist with automating recurring reports to reduce manual work
Develop simple Power Apps and internal web pages to improve team efficiency
Support internal IT communications through clear reporting and visual design

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in IT, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
Comfortable using Excel and common Microsoft tools such as PowerPoint and SharePoint
Basic knowledge of Python, SQL, or data analysis from coursework or projects
Interested in dashboards and data visualisation tools like Power BI or Tableau
Willing to learn new tools and work on different tasks
Able to communicate ideas clearly in writing and conversation
