Key Responsibilities
· Collaborate with the analytics team to design, prototype, and evaluate Generative AI solutions for business functions like underwriting and claims.
· Experiment with and implement advanced prompt engineering techniques to optimize LLM performance for insurance-specific tasks.
· Support the enhancement of document AI capabilities, contributing to projects in layout analysis, visual understanding, and data extraction.
· Assist in building datasets and developing components of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines or agentic AI frameworks.
· Write clean, reusable Python code to create data pipelines, model prototypes, and system integrations.
· Help evaluate model outputs and system performance to drive iterative improvements and ensure robustness.
· Contribute to technical documentation, prepare demonstration materials, and support presentations for stakeholder reviews.
Requirements
· Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, AI, or a related technical field.
· A foundational understanding of and curiosity about Generative AI tools (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, open-source LLMs) and prompt engineering.
· Proficient in Python for data analysis and prototyping; familiarity with SQL is a plus.
· Interest or experience in OCR, document AI, or modern web frameworks for building demos (e.g., Streamlit, Gradio) is advantageous.
· A highly motivated, self-starter attitude with eagerness to learn in a fast-evolving field.
· Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
