Join Shopee’s Digital Financial Services team as an intern supporting risk, fraud, and compliance initiatives across one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic fintech ecosystems. You’ll work alongside experienced specialists to strengthen operational controls, support investigations, and contribute to data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and rollout of risk and fraud management frameworks
- Assist in designing and refining fraud detection rules to strengthen platform safety
- Perform data mining and analysis to identify unusual activity and support investigations
- Prepare monitoring reports and summarise investigation outcomes for review
- Participate in system testing and UATs to validate new features or controls
- Assist in preparing training materials and documentation to support new processes
- Contribute to ad-hoc digital finance projects that enhance operational effectiveness
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in progress or completed
- Familiarity with SQL, Excel, and Python
- Strong analytical thinking with a structured approach to solving problems
- Proactive and comfortable collaborating with different teams
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Full-time preferred (6 months); part-time possible with minimum 3 days/week
