Overview
HP is seeking a College Intern – Semiconductor Wafer Fab Engineering to join its wafer fabrication team. The intern will gain hands-on experience optimizing semiconductor manufacturing processes, analyzing production data, and supporting process improvement initiatives in a high-tech, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and optimizing semiconductor manufacturing processes
- Extract, transform, and load machine-generated data into external systems or databases
- Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
- Support real-time communication between machines and PCs where applicable
- Maintain detailed records of experiments, observations, and results
- Contribute to process improvement projects using statistical and analytical methods
- Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
- Available for a 5–6 month full-time internship starting May 2026
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Familiarity with PC communication protocols is a plus
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is advantageous
- Proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced technical environment
