Overview
Dyson IT is seeking a Solution Architect Intern to support the GSF organisation, which encompasses planning, manufacturing, supply chain, HR, and finance functions. The role provides hands-on experience in solution architecture, system design, and documentation while contributing to real-world IT projects in a global environment. Interns will learn industry best practices, architecture frameworks, and gain exposure to cross-functional technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior architects and project teams from planning through to project completion.
- Document architecture models, technology strategies, and roadmaps.
- Participate in architecture, design, and project meetings, contributing ideas and learning from experts.
- Support creation and improvement of systems, processes, policies, and procedures.
- Apply industry architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and best practices to solve business problems.
Requirements
- Currently completing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Academic projects or coursework related to technology, systems, or architecture are advantageous but not required.
- Self-starter with curiosity, proactive learning mindset, and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and approaches.
- Team player who can receive feedback, adapt, and contribute to projects.
- Interest in IT architecture, global trends, and system improvement.
