The Infectious Disease Alliance (IDA) is offering a Fundraising Associate Internship for students or early-career professionals seeking hands-on experience in nonprofit fundraising and donor relations. Key Responsibilities
- Research and map potential donors, including foundations, philanthropic organizations, and institutional partners.
- Assist in drafting, editing, and formatting grant proposals, concept notes, and fundraising materials.
- Maintain and update donor databases, ensuring accurate records.
- Support donor outreach and follow-up communications.
- Contribute to fundraising reporting and tracking progress toward targets.
- Collaborate with the Fundraising Lead and team to align activities with strategic priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s student (in progress or completed) in nonprofit management, communications, international relations, global health, or related fields.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Collaborative mindset and experience working in diverse teams.
- Analytical skills to interpret data and trends to inform fundraising strategies.
- Cultural sensitivity and commitment to inclusion, disability rights, and global perspectives.
- Familiarity with fundraising, grant writing, or nonprofit finance is a plus.
