Overview
Temasek’s Sustainability Group is seeking a Sustainability Strategy Intern to support initiatives across the institution, portfolio, and ecosystem. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sustainability strategy, ESG integration, and sustainable finance while contributing to research, analysis, and engagement projects that advance Temasek’s net zero, nature positive, and inclusive growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Support analysis of sustainability and ESG policy developments, distilling insights for Temasek
- Conduct research on global trends, standards, and conferences, including climate, nature, social, taxonomy, blended finance, and UNFCCC COP
- Assist in the preparation of sustainability-related disclosures and peer analyses
- Review and support Sustainable Living-aligned investment initiatives
- Contribute to sustainable finance and research projects as required
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in environmental science, sustainability management, sustainable finance, business, economics, international affairs, public policy, or a related field
- Strong passion for sustainability and social impact, demonstrated through coursework, internships, projects, or volunteer experience
- Critical thinking and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work with sustainability data and metrics
- Comfortable using GenAI tools for research and analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Adaptable, eager to learn, and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
