Overview
SeaMoney, part of Sea Group, is seeking interns to support credit and collections operations as well as risk management initiatives across its digital financial services in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The internship provides exposure to financial services operations, credit analysis, risk management frameworks, and system testing, with opportunities to apply quantitative analysis and data skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct reminder calls to delinquent customers to regularize overdue payments.
- Analyze customer credit profiles to determine credit status and recommend collection actions.
- Assist in data entry, monitoring, and report generation for credit and collections operations.
- Support the development and implementation of risk management frameworks, including incident management, fraud monitoring, anti-money laundering, and regulatory compliance strategies.
- Participate in system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) for credit and collections platforms.
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects related to credit and collections system enhancements.
Qualifications / Ideal Candidate
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (current students in final year or recent graduates are eligible).
- Prior experience in consulting, analytics, banking, or finance is a plus but not required.
- Strong quantitative analysis, problem-solving, and modeling skills.
- Structured and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
- Proficient in Excel, SQL, and Python.
- Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Full-time availability for 6 months preferred; part-time candidates must commit to at least 3 working days per week.
