Job Description — Business Development Intern
As a Business Development Intern, you will help grow the business by identifying opportunities, supporting client engagements, and collaborating with internal content teams to deliver impactful marketing campaigns.
This role is ideal for someone who is a foodie, has an interest in media or digital advertising, and enjoys developing innovative business ideas.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Support
- Assist the Business Development Director in sales analysis and preparing recommendations
- Source and identify new marketing and commercial opportunities
- Prepare proposals, pitch decks, and presentations for potential clients
- Negotiate agreement terms, pricing, and deliverables with clients
Client & Account Management
- Manage client accounts and support achievement of revenue targets
- Maintain customer relationships to drive retention and satisfaction
- Coordinate campaign requirements with editors and internal teams
- Support advertorial ideation and execution to meet client objectives
Research & Market Insights
- Conduct research on competitors, market trends, and F&B industry landscape
- Analyse campaign performance and assist in strategic recommendations
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or holding a Diploma/Bachelor’s in Business, Marketing, Sales, Mass Communications, or related fields
- Strong interest in media, digital advertising, and/or the F&B industry
- Creativity and strong proposal-writing skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong project management and organisational ability
- Good network within Singapore’s lifestyle and F&B scene is a bonus
- Positive attitude: self-motivated, independent, and team-oriented
- Full-time commitment: Mon–Fri, 10am – 7pm
