Role Overview
Interns will contribute to cutting-edge data science projects within Sembcorp’s Solar business, focusing on AI-driven solutions for digitalization, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop an AI-based 3D solar site survey platform using computer vision, multimodal deep learning models, and optimization algorithms.
- Enhance the existing Solar Digital-Twin Analytic and Management Platform through data ingestion, analytics, and modeling.
- Engage in web UI design to improve interface and user experience.
- Facilitate weekly meetings with internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
- Support internal and external initiatives through data-driven AI solutions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or related fields.
- Proficient in Python, SQL, Git, machine learning, and algebra.
- Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks, especially PyTorch.
- Familiarity with data analysis and machine learning libraries: numpy, pandas, matplotlib, plotly, scikit-learn.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure is a plus.
- Strong team player with good communication skills; able to work independently.
