Key Responsibilities
- Design and prototype in-house digital products, balancing user needs with technical feasibility
- Develop wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure smooth design-to-development handoffs
- Contribute to and maintain the BIA design system and style guides
- Conduct user research, gather insights, and analyze data to inform design decisions
- Articulate design choices to stakeholders and provide actionable recommendations
- Assist in branding and UI development for new digital products as required
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related fields
- Experience using Figma or similar design tools
- Basic understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS) is a plus
- Familiarity with design-to-developer handoff processes and collaboration tools (e.g., Figma Dev Mode) is advantageous
- Strong empathy for users and an ability to apply data-driven insights
- Effective communication skills to convey design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to work independently when needed
