Overview
This one-year Polytechnic Internship at UOB offers students a chance to gain hands-on experience in trade finance and banking operations. Key Responsibilities
- Review letters of credit, contracts, and transaction documents to ensure compliance
- Conduct price, vessel, and mark-to-market checks for collaterals and FX currencies
- Monitor vessel routes and arrival schedules, notifying relevant agents as required
- Follow up with customers to secure timely receipt of sales proceeds
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in transaction matchlists
- Adhere to UOB’s policies, guidelines, regulatory, and AML/CFT procedures
- Assist team leads with administrative tasks and operational support
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks according to service standards
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Polytechnic diploma program
