Overview

Select Alternative Investments is offering a six-month internship for students interested in private equity, real estate, and venture capital investing. As an intern, you’ll work directly with the global investment team, supporting live deals and gaining end-to-end exposure to how private investments are sourced, analysed, and executed.

Key Responsibilities

Support investment professionals throughout the full deal lifecycle, from sourcing to execution
Screen and evaluate potential investment opportunities across multiple regions
Analyse deal materials to assess commercial viability and financial performance
Assist with financial models, forecasts, and valuation work
Conduct market and industry research to support due diligence activities
Prepare investment committee papers, presentations, and supporting materials
Help produce clear reports and insights for senior investment team members

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree completed or currently pursuing a Master’s in finance, business, or a related field
Strong interest in private markets and a career in investing
Comfortable working with numbers, Excel, and presentation slides
Curious, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
Clear communicator with strong written and verbal English
Eligible to work in Singapore and able to commit full-time for 6 months
