Overview
Singtel’s AIDA (Artificial Intelligence & Data Analytics) team is offering an AI Engineer Internship to support the development and prototyping of next-generation AI and GenAI solutions. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience experimenting with AI tools, building lightweight workflows, and contributing to projects that enhance enterprise AI capabilities across Singtel.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and prototype AI/GenAI concepts and early-stage models
- Experiment with AI tools, frameworks, and agentic AI capabilities to evaluate feasibility
- Assist with data preparation, prompt testing, model evaluation, and integration validation
- Identify bugs, usability issues, and improvement opportunities as an early-stage tester
- Build lightweight scripts, workflows, or applications to accelerate iteration
- Document findings, experiment results, and technical insights for team use
- Collaborate with engineers and solution architects on iterative development
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI/ML, Data Science, or a related field
- Basic programming skills in Python
- Familiarity with ML libraries, APIs, notebooks, or cloud/container tools
- Understanding of prompt engineering and AI experimentation
- Curious, proactive, and willing to learn through hands-on experimentation
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, and documentation skills
- Collaborative mindset and interest in product or user experience
