Overview
Join the Geospatial Data Engineering & Platform team for a hands-on internship focused on real-world data engineering operations. You’ll support the management of the SLA Enterprise Data Platform, working on dataset onboarding, pipeline development, and performance monitoring tools. This role offers a practical look into how large-scale data platforms are maintained and optimized.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and refine ingestion pipelines that prepare datasets from multiple sources
- Write clean, efficient code to support scalable transformation workflows
- Create and update dashboards and reports used for daily data operations
- Apply data quality checks and validation steps to ensure reliable datasets
- Monitor pipeline performance and suggest improvements
- Document data processes, workflows, and system behaviors
- Assist in onboarding new datasets into the enterprise warehouse
- Support audits and internal reviews through clear reporting outputs
Requirements
- Studying Data Science, Computer Science, or a similar technical field
- Comfortable using Python and SQL for data tasks
- Able to write clear code and handle errors thoughtfully
- Understands the basics of ETL concepts and data engineering practices
- Communicates well and enjoys collaborating with a team
- Able to commit to Aug–Dec 2025 or Jan–May 2026
