Overview
Munich Re’s Group Audit (GAudit) team is offering a Data Analytics Internship from January to May 2026. Interns will work closely with the Actuarial Auditor APAC & MEA and the Global Data Analytics & AI Core team, gaining hands-on experience applying analytics and AI to audit processes. You’ll support audit fieldwork, develop dashboards, and contribute to initiatives that enhance productivity across the global audit community.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the design, implementation, and deployment of data analytics and AI solutions for auditing.
- Analyze data quality on SharePoint and develop interactive Power BI dashboards.
- Assist audit teams by applying analytics during fieldwork to extract actionable insights.
- Explore practical AI use cases and contribute to their adoption across regions.
- Document best practices and share insights to promote data literacy within the audit community.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of analytics initiatives.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Statistics, or related fields.
- Some experience with data analytics and AI, via coursework or prior internships.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Python, R, and SQL.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
