Join RTX as a VR Training Intern and help create immersive learning experiences for aerospace manufacturing. You’ll work with engineers, trainers, and subject matter experts to turn complex technical processes into interactive VR training modules. This role provides hands-on experience in instructional design, 3D content integration, and immersive learning technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Develop VR training modules for aerospace tasks, including composite layups, torque applications, and safety drills.
Convert technical processes into interactive and immersive VR scenarios.
Collaborate with engineers and trainers to ensure content accuracy and alignment with learning objectives.
Create storyboards, scripts, and interaction flows to guide VR experiences.
Integrate 3D assets, animations, videos, and environments into VR and eLearning platforms.
Participate in user testing and gather feedback to refine training modules.
Research immersive learning best practices to enhance user experience and instructional effectiveness.
Document development progress and maintain content repositories with version control.

Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Instructional Design, Multimedia, VR/AR, Game Design, or related fields.
Strong interest in VR, immersive learning, or eLearning technologies.
Creative, detail-oriented, and able to translate technical content into interactive experiences.
Good collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Basic knowledge of 3D software, animation tools, or VR platforms is a plus.
Proactive, eager to learn, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
