Overview
Manulife Financial Corporation is seeking a Reinsurance Management Intern to join its Actuarial Department. This role offers an in-depth understanding of reinsurance operations, allowing interns to contribute to strategy-related projects, process improvements, and reinsurance implementation while collaborating with internal stakeholders and regional vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve and maintain documentation for operational procedures
- Support implementation of new reinsurance arrangements in administration systems
- Perform sampling checks on reinsurance transactions for accuracy and compliance
- Assist with data processing to support strategy-related projects and analytics
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Actuarial studies
- Available to commit full-time from May to August 2026
- Strong prioritization skills and a solution-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in MS Excel, SQL, and Access
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
