The APAC Client Service team in Singapore supports institutional and intermediary clients across the region, ensuring high-quality service delivery while driving operational improvements.
This 6-month traineeship is ideal for students who enjoy solving problems, improving processes, and supporting automation initiatives that enhance the client experience.
What You Will Learn
As part of the APAC Client Service hub (Singapore + Hong Kong), you will work closely with Client Service Executives, Technology, Operations, and Compliance teams. This internship gives you hands-on exposure to:
- Process automation
- Client onboarding projects
- Reporting enhancements
- Cross-team collaboration in a global asset management firm
Key Responsibilities
You will support both day-to-day activities and APAC-wide initiatives, including:
1. Automating key client service processes
- Map workflows and document repetitive tasks
- Build or support digital tools (Excel macros, simple dashboards, workflow automations)
- Improve productivity through smart automation
2. Supporting major APAC Client Service projects
- Assist in onboarding initiatives for institutional and intermediary clients
- Support enhancements to reporting and client communication workflows
- Help optimise processes to reduce manual touchpoints
3. Data analysis and reporting
- Analyse operational and client data to produce clear, actionable insights
- Develop management reports that support decision-making across the region
4. Documentation and knowledge management
- Prepare SOPs, process maps, training materials, and FAQs
- Ensure best practices are recorded and easy for the team to adopt
5. Cross-functional support
- Work with Technology, Operations, Risk/Compliance, and Client Service teams
- Provide general project coordination and ad-hoc support

Requirements
- Current undergraduate student available for a full-time 6-month traineeship
- Studying Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline
- Strong interest in financial services or asset management
- Prior experience in client service, operations, automation, or projects is a plus
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (PowerAutomate, Access, Teams, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
