Overview
Join Manulife Singapore’s actuarial team and gain hands-on exposure to IFRS 17 valuation work within a global financial services leader. Key Responsibilities
- Support valuation reporting across multiple insurance portfolios under the IFRS 17 framework.
- Assist in improving valuation and reporting processes, including working file refinements and operational enhancements.
- Participate in system and workflow testing before new processes go live.
- Help document updated methodologies, procedures, and improvement steps.
- Work closely with the team to troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth daily operations.
- Contribute to analysis or data preparation tasks that strengthen reporting accuracy.
Requirements
- Currently progressing through actuarial exams or pursuing an actuarial-related degree.
- Basic understanding of IFRS 17 is helpful but not required.
- Familiar with Excel and other MS Office tools.
- Able to learn new systems; knowledge of AXIS or similar software is a bonus.
- Strong communication, willingness to learn, and ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and committed to following through on tasks.
