Overview
MUFG (Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group), a leading global financial institution, is offering a Sector Coverage Internship within its Global Corporate and Investment Banking division in Singapore. The internship provides students with exposure to a broad range of financial products and services, hands-on experience across the deal lifecycle, and sector-specific insights. Interns will work closely with Sector Coverage specialists to support client engagement and financing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain exposure to MUFG’s full suite of financial products and services.
- Assist in the deal lifecycle, including origination, proposal preparation, execution, and post-deal monitoring.
- Prepare pitch books to support sector-based thematic dialogue and financing mandates.
- Support senior team members in credit analysis, financial modeling, structuring, valuation, peer benchmarking, and ratings analysis.
- Collaborate with product teams across Leveraged & Acquisition Finance, Project Finance, Global Markets, Debt Capital Markets, and Transaction Banking.
- Present projects and case studies to business partners and management.
Requirements
- Strong interest in finance, with prior internship experience preferred.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, pitch book preparation, and credit/financial statement analysis.
- Action-oriented, energetic, and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
- High ethical standards in alignment with MUFG values.
- Understanding of one or more sectors such as Mobility, Technology, Real Estate, Energy, Renewables, or Industrials is advantageous.
Internship Details
- Duration: 12 January 2026 – 31 July 2026
- Location: Singapore
- Eligibility: Singaporean or Permanent Resident students from selected local universities (NUS, NTU, SMU, SUTD, SUSS).
