Kickstart your career in cybersecurity with EY Singapore! As a Cyber Security Intern, you’ll support multi-disciplinary teams in implementing information security solutions for leading financial institutions. This role offers hands-on experience in monitoring security threats, assessing vulnerabilities, and contributing to the design and implementation of protective measures.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring and analysing security alerts and incidents to identify potential breaches or vulnerabilities
- Support the implementation and maintenance of security systems, tools, and technologies
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify system and network weaknesses
- Assist in the development and execution of security policies, standards, and procedures
- Contribute to employee security awareness and training programs
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to investigate and respond to incidents
- Analyse security logs and event data to detect potential threats
- Stay up to date with cybersecurity trends, technologies, and threats through research and learning
- Support incident response planning, disaster recovery procedures, and risk mitigation efforts
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and ability to articulate threats, risks, and mitigation strategies
- Demonstrated passion or experience in one or more cybersecurity domains: Cyber Program Management, Cyber Threat Management, Identity & Access Management, Data Protection, Privacy, Security Operations, Cyber Analytics
- Experience or interest in software development lifecycle (Agile/Waterfall) and/or coding/scripting languages (Python, Java, etc.)
- Ability to articulate technical risks and solutions to business and technology leaders
- Strong technical security skills in assessment, design, implementation, architecture, and project delivery across various delivery models (Waterfall, Agile, DevOps)
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
- Commitment to full-time internship of at least 3 months starting May 2026
