The Opportunity — Financial Services Organisation (FSO)
As an intern in EY’s Financial Services Organisation (FSO), you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the globe to deliver insights and solutions for clients in key financial sectors. EY is the only professional services firm with a dedicated business exclusively focused on the financial services industry, covering:
- Asset management
- Banking and capital markets
- Insurance
- Private equity
This internship provides hands-on experience working with capital market participants and engaging with a broad spectrum of risk management services.
Key Responsibilities
You will support the team in delivering an integrated range of Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) solutions, which may include:
- Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Regulatory Compliance
- Prudential Supervision and Bank Holding Company reporting
- Credit Risk, Capital Adequacy, and Liquidity Risk
- Market Risk and Operational Risk assessment
- Enterprise Risk management support
- Structured Finance and Quantitative Advisory Services
Your responsibilities may span research, analysis, report preparation, model support, and participation in client engagement activities.
Skills and Attributes for Success
We are looking for candidates who:
- Are currently pursuing a university degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Understand economic and market trends and can interpret their impact on clients
- Possess strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
- Are comfortable leveraging technology to enhance learning and service delivery
- Have strong presentation abilities and proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Are proactive, self-motivated, energetic, and eager to learn
- Demonstrate good project management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Can build an understanding of EY’s solutions and know when to access subject matter specialists
