About the Traineeship
This traineeship offers ITE and Polytechnic fresh graduates the opportunity to build strong technical foundations in one of the world’s leading aerospace organisations. Through a combination of structured training and hands-on on-the-job learning, trainees will gain real-world experience that accelerates their technical competency and long-term career progression in GE Aerospace.
You will be based at GE Aerospace Engine Services Singapore (GEAESS) — the region’s flagship engine component MRO site, responsible for over 60% of GE’s global repair volume. This is a rare opportunity to train in a world-class facility leveraging smart factory technologies, automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing.
What You Will Do
Quality Inspection & Verification
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections on incoming, in-process, and finished engine components.
- Verify that parts meet all specification, documentation, and quality plan requirements.
- Prevent non-conforming parts from progressing to subsequent workstations.
Technical Support & Collaboration
- Support Manufacturing Engineers and Quality System Engineers during audits, evaluations, and quality investigations.
- Provide structured feedback on inspection results and part quality issues.
Data, Reporting & Process Integrity
- Collect quality-related data for analysis and continuous improvement.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance across all work clearances and documentation.
Area & Equipment Management
- Perform routine housekeeping, equipment checks, and scheduled maintenance within your inspection area.
- Maintain a safe, organised, and audit-ready workspace.
Who This Traineeship Is For
- Singaporean / PR candidates only (to meet programme requirements).
- Within 3 years of graduation, or ORD within 3 years for National Servicemen.
- Keen to build a technical career in aerospace engineering, manufacturing, or quality assurance.
- Comfortable working in a shift-based, hands-on environment.

- Any related engineering discipline
Other Requirements
- Able to read and write English at professional working proficiency.
- Comfortable with rotating/shift work.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
- Willing to commit to a 1-year bond upon completion of the traineeship.
- Good team player with strong learning attitude.
