Overview
Allianz Singapore is offering a 12-month Actuarial Apprenticeship designed to develop future leaders in the insurance industry. Starting in mid-April 2026, this programme provides hands-on exposure to actuarial work within the Asia Pacific Property & Casualty business. Apprentices will gain experience in reserving, technical reporting (IFRS17), reinsurance, and Lines of Business reporting while contributing to process improvements and sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and fill templates for Independent Reserves Review
- Track quarterly reserve KPIs and analyze performance metrics (Gross Written Premium, Combined Ratio, Loss Ratio, Expense Ratio)
- Collect and validate claims and exposure data to enhance Loss Ratio analysis
- Support improvements in reinsurance processes, including Catastrophe data submission and pricing tools
- Contribute to integration projects for newly acquired companies
- Assist with BAU tasks, including actuarial closings, analysis, and commentary
- Participate in a year-long sustainability project with final presentation to leadership
Requirements
- Recent graduate (2024–2026) from any local polytechnic in Singapore
- Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and propose innovative solutions
- Adaptable and flexible in a dynamic work environment
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) is advantageous
- Interest in actuarial work, insurance, or finance is beneficial
