Singapore — Full-Time Internship (Preferred duration: 6 months)
About the Role
Join MTU Maintenance Singapore as a Leasing & Asset Management Intern and gain hands-on experience in the global aviation aftermarket. You will support engine leasing, trading, commercial operations, and cross-functional projects across Supply Chain, Sales, Legal, and Accounting. This internship offers exposure to real-world asset management processes and the global movement of aircraft engines and engine parts.
Key Responsibilities
- Support engine leasing activities, including leasing in/out arrangements and global trading of aircraft engines and components.
- Assist with market research and analysis considering technical, logistical and economic factors.
- Prepare contracts, commercial documents, and reports within Supply Chain Management.
- Build financial and cost calculations (e.g., sales budgets, cost breakdowns) using MS Excel.
- Coordinate with vendors by obtaining quotations, comparing offers, and tracking delivery timelines and cost performance.
- Assist with logistics related to global engine and inventory movement.
- Contribute to customer and product base development by identifying new opportunities.
- Collaborate with Accounting, Legal, and Sales on joint projects.
- Support Sales in coordinating events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Upload and track engine utilisation records from lessees into SAP.
Your Profile
- Currently studying Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Previous internship experience in purchasing, sales, or logistics is an advantage.
- Strong command of English (spoken and written).
- Excellent proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong negotiation abilities, analytical thinking, and a hands-on, proactive mindset.
- Able to commit full-time for approximately 6 months (preferably as a mandatory internship).
- Must be eligible to work in Singapore.
