The firm’s ESG Team plays a key role in strengthening LGI’s sustainable investing capabilities and supporting long-term value creation across portfolios.
We are looking for an enthusiastic ESG Intern to support ongoing ESG integration, research, reporting, and engagement initiatives. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sustainability, data, and the evolving relationship between ESG and investment decision-making.
What You’ll Do
- Support scheduled ESG reporting for internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Work with ESG and investment data to generate insights, analytics, and dashboards.
- Develop tools or process enhancements to improve workflow efficiency and support ESG integration.
- Participate in corporate engagement activities and prepare relevant briefing materials.
- Conduct ESG research, including sector trends, thematic studies, and company-level assessments.
- Assist investment teams in evaluating ESG factors across portfolios.
What We’re Looking For
- Currently pursuing studies in Sustainable Finance, Data/Computer Science, or related fields (Degree or Polytechnic diploma).
- Strong interest in ESG concepts; understanding of investment fundamentals is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, Power Query); Python skills preferred.
- Ability to manage and interpret large datasets and translate them into clear insights.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with ESG data platforms (e.g., MSCI ESG Manager, Glass Lewis) is an advantage.
