Overview
Join ING Bank’s Compliance team and gain hands-on exposure to how a global financial institution manages regulatory, financial crime, and conduct risks. This full-time, six-month internship places you at the regional headquarters in Singapore, where you’ll work with specialists supporting compliance activities across Asia Pacific. What You Will Learn
- A full understanding of the Compliance function within a global wholesale bank
- Exposure to financial crime, AML/CFT processes, customer due diligence and market conduct standards
- Experience coordinating with regional and global stakeholders
- Practical insight into banking operations, risk management, and regulatory expectations
Key Responsibilities
- Support Financial Economic Crime (FEC) processes, including screening review, CDD checks, and documentation
- Assist in preparing and coordinating AML/FEC reports for Asia management and global teams
- Contribute to the implementation of new compliance policies, regulatory updates and procedural enhancements
- Provide support for ad-hoc compliance initiatives and projects
- Perform administrative and operational tasks as assigned by the Head of Financial Crime Compliance
