Our Financial Markets team supports clients in navigating market complexity, identifying opportunities, and managing risk across a wide spectrum of asset classes. From FX and interest rates to debt securities and commodities, we deliver customised solutions that enable global trade and investment. Sitting at the core of Corporate & Investment Banking, Financial Markets connects institutional clients to capital, liquidity, and strategic insights that drive sustainable growth.
About the Internship Programme
This 10-week summer programme is designed to immerse you in one of the industry’s most dynamic environments. You will learn from market professionals, contribute to live projects, and gain firsthand exposure to how global markets operate.
What You’ll Experience:
- Structured induction and classroom learning
- Training on products, platforms, and business fundamentals
- Hands-on project work and technical seminars
- Mentorship from managers, buddies, and senior leaders
- Networking and community engagement opportunities
Possible Rotations
You will work across two of the following areas based on your strengths and interests:
- Sales: Build relationships with institutional clients and support trade execution.
- Trading: Support market-making, risk management, and analytics across asset classes.
- Structuring: Assist in designing and pricing structured products using quantitative insights.
- Financing Risk: Help analyse, structure, and manage financing solutions.
- Research: Contribute to macro, FX, credit, ESG, commodities, or geopolitical insights.
- Macro Portfolio Risk, Modelling & Analytics, XVA/Product Teams: Work on risk analytics, scenario modelling, product review, and valuation adjustments.
Who We’re Looking For
We welcome students from all degree disciplines, especially those with strong analytical skills. For technical roles, backgrounds in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Quantitative Finance are preferred.
You should demonstrate:
- Strong academic performance and active extracurriculars
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Agility, teamwork, and resilience
- Clear communication and project management skills
- Permanent legal right to work in Singapore
- Penultimate-year status with availability to intern in June 2026 and start full-time in July 2027
- (Internships in India begin in April.)
