Overview
IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Finance Intern to support the Director of Finance for new hotel openings across SEAK & JAPAC. This internship provides exposure to pre-opening financial operations, budgeting, reporting, and cross-functional coordination, offering hands-on experience in hospitality finance and project management.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Finance with administrative and strategic tasks for new hotel openings.
- Coordinate meetings with General Managers and Directors of Finance; record minutes and follow up on action items.
- Develop and maintain dashboards to track pre-opening progress and critical financial data.
- Support the preparation and execution of pre-opening budgets and collaborate with hotel teams.
- Assist in Accounts Receivable collection and compliance-related activities.
- Identify opportunities to streamline finance processes and enhance internal tools.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with team objectives.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accountancy, Business Management, or Hospitality Management (final-year students preferred).
- Prior internship experience in hotel management, accounting, or consulting is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Team-oriented with a willingness to adapt and learn in a dynamic environment.
