Overview
The UOB Summer Internship Programme is designed to give you a deep, real-world immersion into the world of banking. Over the course of the programme, you will work directly within one of our core business segments, contribute to meaningful projects, and gain hands-on experience that will accelerate both your personal and professional growth.
Interns will also have the opportunity to engage with senior leaders, Management Associates, and professionals across the bank — giving you a holistic view of what it means to build a long-term career at UOB.
Successful completion of the programme, paired with strong performance, places you on a fast-track pathway toward the UOB Management Associate Programme.

Your responsibilities will depend on the team you are placed in. You may intern with one of the following divisions:

- Global Markets
- Group Wholesale Banking
- Group Retail
- Group Risk Management
- Group Finance & Corporate Strategy
- Group Audit
- Group Technology & Operations
- Group Channels & Digitalisation
- TMRW Digital Group
- Corporate Sustainability Office
Across these teams, interns typically work on:
- Supporting business, digital, or financial projects
- Conducting research, analysis, and reporting
- Assisting in strategy development or operations improvement
- Contributing to client, digital, or risk management initiatives
- Participating in team discussions, solutioning, and execution
- Presenting insights or project outcomes to stakeholders
Requirements
We are seeking students who are in their penultimate or final year of study from disciplines such as:
- Business
- Communications, Marketing
- Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics
- Economics
- Engineering
- Finance
- Mathematics
- Statistics
- Social Sciences
You should also demonstrate:
- Strong analytical and communication skills
